I went on a train in America once. I travelled from LA to Santa Barbara, and then back again a week later. (Oh, OK, that's twice). People - i.e. my family - thought I was weird for travelling by train, but I loved it! A double-decker train! And an opportunity for some serious people-watching/evesdropping I could have had nowhere else. That beautiful picture brings it flooding back...
But then, I wasn't on a train for twenty hours. :) Hope you have a lovely weekend and it will all have been worth it.
great pic...almost chilling, reminds me of the start of some great film noir. My train travel experience was less than delightful thanks to a bunch of over served cohorts. But I'd be willing to try it again in a more sedate setting.

I love this picture. You really have a great eye for beautiful shots. The bowl of cherries is great!
